NightEnD and ToD through to IEM Qualifier Stage 2

IEM Qualifier Stage 1 write-up

Tonight, both of the attending FnaticRC players have managed to qualify themselves for the second stage of the IEM gamescom EU qualification. For both FnaticRC players the third round proved to be the most difficult one of the night as both of the black-and-orange players would go up against some of Europe's upcoming players, namely Fuzer and XlorD, the latter having played for MYM.

The two FnaticRC stars were just too big a mouthful to swallow for the Finn and the German, who both fell short thus failing to qualify. NightEnD and ToD have both made it through to the second stage which will take place on June 17 - Fnatic.com will of course bring you all the action as it happens.

All matches were played in a best-of-three format offering a great deal of action for the viewers.

The Qualifiers

The top 16 of this qualifier are qualified for the next stage of the IEM gamescom EU qualification. No further rounds need to be played as soon as the top 16 players have been determined. Top 8 from the the second qualifier are qualified for the third stage the IEM GamesCom EU qualification. No further rounds need to be played as soon as the top 8 players have been determined. Top 7 from the 3rd qualifier are qualified for the IEM GamesCom tournament.
