RaidCall is not only Fnatic's title sponsor, it's also one of the most used voicetools in the world. As there is so much to explore within RaidCall we want to give you a little insight, how to set it up and about the most important features that is has to offer.
How to set up RaidCall
First of all you will need to download RaidCall from the official site. Next thing to do then, is to start the programm and on the bottom left you click "Create a new account". It will then redirect you to the register page where you will need to fill in all the required information. If you are done, you only need to log in to RaidCall. Important: Don't forget that your login name is your username + @RaidCall.com.
RaidCall groups
Once you are logged in, there are many things you can do, but let us do this one by one. RaidCall seperates its servers into groups, so it's very easy for you to find a server that fits your interests. The server groups range from Games to Educational groups and to National servers, which means that you can talk to people from your own country. But you can also create your own groups, which allows you to administrate your own server. All you need to do is click "Create my group", fill in the information and you are the owner of a brandnew server. In case you don't want to create your own group you can also join a server and create your own channel.
Contacts
RaidCall also allows you to add contacts, which can be seperated into different categories. It pretty much works like Facebook. You can see whether your friends are on- or offline and leave them a message if you like to. Furthermore you can see on which server they are and join them or just check out their recent status messages.
Points & Credits
Another unique feature that RaidCall has to offer are the points and credits system. Every hour you spend on RaidCall will earn you a new point as well as a new credit. While points are made to show your activity and how much time you spent on RaidCall, credits will be used for gift boxes from treasure boxes. This feature will be implented in the nearer future.
Music channels & more
So if you ever wanted to play some nice music in your channel to skip the boring idle time, RaidCall has implented a little feature for you. You can now easily enjoy music together with your friends. To do so, there are two different music modes you can choose from by clicking on the note on the bottom of Raidcall. While "Hardware processing" will use your soundcard to broadcast the music being played on your computer. The "Software processing" option will have Raidcall initialize music playing software to play the music, such as the Windows Media Player. In case you just want to listen to some nice chill music, there are also dozen of music channels avaible on RaidCall. Just check out the group "Music/Radio".
Apart from the fact that RaidCall offers a lot of cool features, it is also perfect to communicate with your friends while you play. Also there is a game overlay avaible for games such as Starcraft 2 and WC3 to control RaidCall, even whilst you play. There is still plenty of more things to explore on RaidCall.
