PLAY RaidCall Dota2 Cup #4 - Semi-Finals

Today we kicked off the fourth edition of PLAY RaidCall Dota2 cup, with one hundred participants brave enough to take on the challenge. Teams such as Complexity, Evil Geniuses, and FnaticRaidCall are just some of the giants of the Dota2 scene who signed up for our tournament.

Sadly, only four could live through the first day. Even though we planned for 64 teams, since more than 130 teams signed up for participation, and 100 checked in, we have decided to prolong the tournament and make one extra round played today.

The first semi-finals match will start on Friday, July 20th between VirtusPro and POTM BOTTOM at 17:00 CET. Both teams stormed their way through their part of the grid. VirtusPro took down the likes of Copenhagen Wolves and GamersLeague.int, while PB won against GC and PR. The second semi-finals will start right after, between coL and zNation. It is not the first time that coL enters the semis, in fact, they already have one winning title of PLAY RaidCall cups. This time they faced EG in the quarter-finals, and Team Gillette from Germany before that. zNation on the other hand had a slightly easier task, as the hardest opponents they ran into were team Zebra and Team Luksus. Even so, we want to congratulate zNation as well as the other participants on reaching the top four out of hundred teams.

The Grand Finals will be streamed by TobiWanKenobi of joinDOTA, right after the Defense, approximately at 22:00 CET.
