GSL Code A: aLive falls to PartinG

It wasn't meant to be. In the deciding match for a Code S spot aLive missed his first chance to earn himself a Code S spot for next season. After eliminating First in the in Round of 48, aLive received a BYE because GanZi forfeited the match.

Today aLive was only one win away from returning to Code S, the league he has been a denizen over a few seasons. In his match, which also could have been a Code S semi-final match, both parties didn't show any weakness. On Whirlwind FnaticRC's Terran player took quite a quick 1:0 lead, which brought him into a good situation. But PartinG was experienced enough to be not nervous and tied the match once again to 1:1. Unfortunately even on Atlantis Spaceship PartinG seemed to be in better shape today and finished off aLive.

This means that the StarTale player gets a spot in the next Code S season, while aLive saves a little chance for a spot by participating in the Up & Down matches. Also Oz still has the chance to be part of the next Code S season, as he is also taking part in the Up & Down matches.
