UPDATED 18/03/2010 The bug where the user were unable to connect to a server from Windows(Server list, HLTV services and demo players) has now been fixed.
With the popularity of the previous FnaticMSI Counter-Strike 1.6 GUI, Patrik "cArn" Sättermon has created the second version of the GUI for your gaming pleasure.
Please read the instruction before use:
1) Installation To optimize the graphics of the FnaticMSI GUI the user should install from the folder with the name that matches your resolution. For example, if you are using 800x600, extract the files from the folder named "800x600". Extract the proper files into /steamapps/counter-strike/. To avoid problems please allow all overwrites in the extraction procedure. The FnaticMSI players advice everyone to disable mouse acceleration. To disable mouse acceleration add -noforcemparms -noforcemaccel to your launch option(Steam).
2) Configs The user can easily swap between each of the FnaticMSI player's configs by pressing F10 to access the commandmenu. It is also possible to execute the config by writing the name of the player's config that you wish to use in the CONSOLE. For example, see below: To execute f0rest's config from the console, simple type "f0rest" and press ENTER. The configs of the following players are available: cArn, dsn, f0rest, GeT_RiGhT and threat. The user can also execute a config by adding "+player name" in the Counter-Strike launch option(Steam).
3) Maps The Fnatic GUI comes with the aim maps the Fnatic.MSi players are using for practice. De_tuscan is also in the map pack. aim_ak_map.bsp aim_glock.bsp aim_glocker.bsp aim_map_usp.bsp de_tuscan.bsp
4) Disclaimer The Fnatic GUI is using settings specially designed for professional Counter-Strike, approved by the ESL(www.esl.eu). We advise the user to avoid changes in the config, except legal binds, to avoid the GUI becoming illegal for competitive Counter-Strike use.
I have "installed" the gui, I added my name in the commandmenu.txt and changed my config.cfg to veto.cfg. I am wondering how you make the commandmenu execute i.e. carn.cfg. I'd like to have the option to change to my own config. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help me :)
dude....1st of all many happy returns of the day...hope u had a good 1....by the way people facing problems reagrding putting on their cfgs. will u guide me how to take over that problem???
Carn help i have tried every thing but it still won't work and i have followed the instructions, but it still won't activate, so please help a fellow swede out
Jag fixade 2011 GUI för några månader sedan men nu så fick jag någon sorts meny bugg då det bara visades "Servers" så jag fick ändra allting genom console, då tänkte jag ominstallera steam, så jag gjorde det och sen installera GUIn och ingen fungerar utan det blir ett error som säger att den inte känner igen filen eller att den är skadad. Jag har testat att byta namn på den men det fungerar utan det står "Unexpected end of archive" och jag vettefan vad jag ska göra för jag behöver verkligen vissa extra saker som finns i GUIn.
