Some info on my multiplayer gaming history:

I've been gaming as long as I can remember, and played some small games on the internet since the mid-late 90s (XPilot FTW :D).
My first quality online game was the MMORPG flag Lineage and from there on online gaming exploded. I really enjoyed Battlefield 1942. I still played Lineage occasionally and switched to Lineage 2 when it was released.

I used to be pretty good in the games I played but I never felt an urge to compete in leagues, cups or join a clan. This changed when a friend of mine showed me the Painkiller multiplayer demo early January 2005. I already loved the singleplayer of PK but I never bought it, so when I saw how cool the multiplayer was I just had to buy it =D
I had very little experience with dueling in FPS games but the more I played PK the better I got. Finally n!faculty picked me up and since then I started to enjoy competitive play.

When the CPL World Tour featuring Painkiller as its main game ended the whole PK community sorta moved on. I tried Quake 4 but I didn't like the slow gameplay. After some months the 0.1 Beta of Warsow came out and I was immediately sold. I left n!faculty and joined Pain is Coming (PiC) together with my n! teammate Scoobz0r.

These days you can find me online playing games like Warsow, Battlefield 2, Quake 4, Painkiller (yes still :D), occasionally some Half Life 1/2 related games, ... etc
