In August we announced the innovation of the Fnatic Vision Movie Contest with the possibility of finding out who will be creating the official Fnatic movie and joining Fnatic Vision.
The official deadline for movie submissions was on Wednesday 10th October 2007 and we have had a lot of quality entries to try and earn the first place prize of a f0rest Aim Package or Xmas Special 1 and of course, joining the Fnatic Vision team earning money to make our movie!
The winner will also receive a Razer Armadillo and Everglide MouseGlides from our shop.
We asked you to create a mini-movie on Patrik " f0rest" Lindberg from our Counter-Strike 1.6 team, using only demos from the Electronic Sports World Cup Grand Finals 2007 and GameGune 2007, and must be between 1:00 to 2:00 minutes in total length.

Mmmm, can someone tell me what happens when they aren't working? They all seem to be working fine for me, using FireFox and you might have to wait a while after pressing play for the movie to actually load.

The 3rd and 4th movies are without a doubt the best among the 5 candidates.
Production/editing/concept wise they're both HQ movies and well above any other but i must admit i enjoyed #3's ambiance much more.
To me it's the one that better depicts f0rest's style of play, aggressive, flashy, high profile, energetic.

The voting system fnatic.com came up with is not the most appropriate imo. We are talking about the future fnatic movie and i am sure you only want the best guy working on it since you will be paying him.
It seems like whoever gets the most publicity done will win the contest and that is by far a very unfair method for the other competitors who might have done a better job.

I liked the 4th the most, cause there are not only frags like in the other ones, but there is also some story in it..
The 1,2,3,5 are also nice videos, but without the music and excellent f0rest's frags it's nothing special!!
The 3rd is maybe just too fast and fuzzy so it wasnt much comfortable too watch.

all had their pros and cons but I think kajis and nunorex are in their own class at this competition. I really didnt enjoy the music nunorex used although he had a very nice "theme" in the movie. But kajis created a very chill and smooth, kinda underwater atmosphere to his movie with the music used and made it much more enjoyable to watch =))

What's the point in voting for someone just because he or she is populair, this isnt a populairity contest? It's all about experience....
I thought that they where looking for someone to join Fnatic Vision team and not someone who has told a lot of his friends to vote for his video / create clone accounts to win prizes and take the spot in the Fnatic Vision team (All these lads have experience in movie making, that's just a fact but that has nothing to do with this).
As I sayd this isnt a populairity contest, I could also create a movie (but I didnt have time) and tell all the guys I know, to vote for my video, although it would most likely not be as good as some of these lads' movies, but, I could still win duo to this gay voting, I am pretty sure I can get more votes then these guys got.....

no one said the vote system was good or even the best. in fact, n3utro's movie is the best imho, it looks much more professional than nunorex's movie and eye-appealing, even kajis's movie is better. but that depends on a person's likes and dislikes.
your point is correct but useless in this occasion. fnatic are not only a professional gaming organization but a company, i don't believe they will just hire (and pay) someone with "a lot of friends and clones" to make their final movie.
Mate, that's your oppinion, I think his movie is too messy (But he is an experienced movie maker to be honest, I just didnt like his movie). But this has nothing to do with the fairness of this voting.
Even though his movie might be the best and he might deserve the spot in the Fnatic Vision team, Nunorex could still win duo to being more populair.
That's my point and of course Fnatic wouldnt let someone in who is just populair, they want the best, but it is unfair to say no to someone who has got the most votes and in this case would get the spot and the first prize.

One word: hypnotic. This guy can turn an unlistenable song into a great soundtrack with ease, it's amazing. Analyzed Collision 2 kicks ass and hey, it wasn't even finished. Keep it up.
That N3utr0 guy did a great job, too. All the artwork was extremely stylish and his clip had this energic feeling all the way through, but I'm gonna have to go with the Finn this time. :)
Oh and a special mention or more liek a thumbs-up for Nunorex for all the editing "outside the game" or how should I say it. Well, I really liked the 'scene' with the pictures moving on the background and the fnatic guys on the front. Very neat. :) Work with the editing on the actual frag material and damn.

What's the point in voting for someone just because he or she is populair, this isnt a populairity contest? It's all about experience....
I thought that they where looking for someone to join Fnatic Vision team and not someone who has told a lot of his friends to vote for his video / create clone accounts to win prizes and take the spot in the Fnatic Vision team (All these lads have experience in movie making, that's just a fact but that has nothing to do with this).
As I sayd this isnt a populairity contest, I could also create a movie (but I didnt have time) and tell all the guys I know, to vote for my video, although it would most likely not be as good as some of these lads' movies, but, I could still win duo to this gay voting, I am pretty sure I can get more votes then these guys got.....

1st: Bruno N3utr0 Barbosa there is an excess of effects, its true but the movie has 2 mins and in 2 mins he has to show what he is capable of... and he did a VERY GOOD job showing it... the movie is really nice and all the efects are spetacular.
