Fnatic.CSS Change and i33 Multiplay

by aSpeN on March 17th, 2008 at 17:45 CET

Next weekend, our Fnatic Counter-Strike Source squad will be at Newbury Racecourse, United Kingdom for the Multiplay i33 LAN. The event takes place from the 21st to the 24th of March with a total prize purse of €10,000. There will be around 128 source teams fighting in group stages and then the qualified teams play in a double elimination bracket.

Furthermore, the Counter-Strike Source squad won’t attend the i33 with our latest addition, Rutger “ylSs” Smeding. He is retiring from gaming so he is not able to go to the largest lan in the United Kingdom's History. Rutger is going to focus on work and other real life business. Moreover, ylSs said in his interview that he will become a dad in September.Fnatic wishes him the best of luck in the future!

To replace him, Quint “Blaze” Spierenburg makes his comeback. He went inactive one month ago since he has a demanding job that doesn’t give him much time to practice and therefore had lost his motivation to continue at this level but Quint is back in the team and isn’t there only for i33 Multiplay but he can stay as long as he wants.
