FoCuS vs Space - The Preview

FoCuS is definitely a different breed of orc. Contrary to most other orc's style, Hyosub likes to rock the status quo from time to time with an exotic, off-the-cuff maneuver that forces his opponent to adapt or acknowledge defeat.


Hyosub has a keen sense of the game, often formulating offensive maneuvers on a whim having spotted an opportunity to strike. Hyosub likes to live dangerously, which can be a double edged sword for the orc. Occasionally he'll go all in with a risky strategy and come out victorious, other times he falters crippling his chances at a win later in the game.

Hyosub's undead match is as strong as any other orc players, established undead competitors like Lucifer or FoV more often than not fall to his Blademaster and that's a good indication of how today's game might go.


Seung Hyeon on the other hand is a more reserved player, calculated moves planned well in advance bring him his wins. Space hasn't spent much time competing at offline events meaning he's been somewhat sheltered from the stronger orc competitors. Rarely is he seeded against an orc in the WC3L or NGL, giving him little reason to practice the match-up. His game can be predictable at times, but he has widdled his technique down to a science, being aware of his every move won't even guarantee you a win.

FoCuS has had plenty of online and offline experience with undead competitors and consistently changes his game-style accordingly, Space conversely has had little contact with orc competitors and today's matches could attest to that. It's important to note however that the chances are if Space has practiced against any orc, chances are FoCuS is it. If there's any orc style Seung Hyeon will be prepared for, it'll be Hyosub's.

The few times we have seen these two veritable titans clash, in an official capacity, FoCuS is usually the one left standing. The odds say today's will be no different. However, Space is an amazing competitor with both the brains and ability that make him a dangerous opponent regardless of what race you play or what team tag you sport.

Space may be the underdog for today's, but that's a position he held for month after month while defeating some of the most established competitors in the WC3L and NGL.

Both of these competitors will be looking to please the crowd with a showcasing of that fnatic panache. Regardless of how the game turns out, the fans are sure to enjoy this one.
