Fnatic.CoD4's very own, Daniel 'Tidde' Asp has today been featured in his local newspaper, Enköpings Posten, making him somewhat of a local celebrity.
Unfortunately the interview is only avaliable in Swedish although we do have an English summary (click Full Story to read). Covering topics such as the upcoming summer lans, Call of Duty 4, eSports in general and Asp's nomination in the "Best Call of Duty 4 Player" category for the eSports Awards, the article gives an interesting insight into a day in the life of Tidde.

Article Summary in English (thanks to Zubie):
"The article begins with Daniel Asp's introduction and how old he is and that he's a COD4 player. There's a mention about him going on tour around the world and that his trips are paid for and he's earning some money from the tournaments he attends.
He believes that fnatic shall win at least one of the three tournaments and won't place outside the top 3 in any of them. The interview then goes on to talk about CoD4 and how it works as a 5 player game. The article goes on to make a comparions between soccer and general eSports.
It continues with tidde discussing his daily routine, he spends about 10 hours a day on the computer and 8 of them are spent playing CoD4. A little bit of the gameplay of CoD4 is explained where he talks about how there are two sides in the game and they clash for the win. Daniel says that he fell in love with the game when it launched in winter.
He says he loves the environment and the game play has a modern feel to it, something he feels lacks in most games. He thinks he's good at most First Person Shooter games that he has played since he thinks that he has the required fast reflexes, game sense, team spirit and time to practice.
The interview then digs into tidde's past by rewinding back to the time when he got his first computer and played a lot of racing games. He then came in contact with Counter Strike and that's when life changed for him and he decided to play a game seriously. The article then shifts to the present day where he has joined a team and doesn't play with the "not so good players" any more. Mostly because he gets accused of cheating online and he says that it's not fair.
The discussion continues further with a comparison being made between cheating in COD4 and using banned substances in real sports. Daniel says that "it's even worse and I'd never do that".
His goal is to get a stable salary from eSports and be known as the best player in the world. He is already one of the five nominated players at the eSports awards this year. His fate will be decided on the 11th of August. "Winning the eSport award is a big goal for myself" says Daniel as the interview is brought to a close."
