MYM DotA stands still in their first place rank of the PDL after taking a 2:0 victory over the fnatic DotA squad. Fnatic will now square off against Avid gaming on Monday at 16:00 CET.

MYM DotA was in a slump not too long ago, only getting 4th place at ESWC Masters of Paris and 3rd at Dreamhack Summer. They were also knocked out the first round of the MYM Prime Defending playoffs not too long ago. Before their losses, they were considered to be the best DotA team in the world.

While in their slump, it was apparent that they were not adjusted to the new map (6.52e) due to all the major changes. Now after some roster changes and extensive training the team has come back into their normal form. They proved to be the more experienced team in their victory tonight.

Fnatic DotA still put up a good fight in the second game, while struggling with their 280 latency issue. MYM used two American players knowing that the host would be American putting fnatic at a disadvantage, especially in their solo lanes.

Fnatic DotA will now train extensively to get well adjusted to the new map. They are hoping to come back and pull a 2:0 victory against Avid on Monday! They will also be travelling to a major event, WGT in Indonesia soon. Stay tuned!
