Fnatic DotA still has one match to go in the PDL, but are already guaranteed a qualifying spot in the PDL playoffs. They will now compete with 5 other teams for a prize purse of $3500.
MYM has created a legacy with their DotA tournaments. They are most famous for their seasonal tournament, MYM Prime Defending where over 600 teams worldwide compete. Four national qualifiers, a group stage, preliminaries and playoffs --- one of the toughest battles for teams to surpass.
After the 10th season of the Prime Defending tournament, MYM created a league version called the MYM Prime Defending League. This was marked as the most prestigious online DotA competition in the world. Six teams were invited and six others qualified from the 10th PriDe tournament. Fnatic was one of the six invited teams.
The PDL has the highest level of competition DotA has ever seen, even higher than the ESWC Grand Finals and Masters tournaments. After 11 playdays, the top 6 teams advance into the playoffs and the bottom 6 must try to requalify for the next PDL season through PriDe 11.
