All good things come to an end, and that applies for the Champions League of WarCraft III, the WC3L, too. Including this 10th playday of this fourteenth edition of the WC3L, fnatic has only two more playdays to make it into the top4 which would give the team the chance to participate in the grand finals.
But true to the motto the best is yet to come, fnatic faces the currently fourth-placed team Meet Your Makers on this playday. With an 3:2 victory fnatic and Meet Your Makers would share the same amount of points and along with it the fourth place. Will fnatic manage to stay in touch with the top4, or will this playday be an advanced deciding? Find out at 17:00!

| I am happy after beating Grubby, last few weeks I was practicing Orc mirrors a lot, so it's nice to win. |
Quick Interview with Spittie:
So, quick recap of the game vs MYM maybe?
Yeah sure. The team-match against MYM was very important for us. The last two matches directly decides which team gets to go to the playoffs and which team don't. All of our players are capable of beating their counter-part in MYM. They really stepped up and proved their worth. I'm very proud of them all. Especially Shy, who honestly surprised me against Moon. A very solid performance!
I asked Shy this as well and while his answer was different, I'd like to know who of the team is the pick of the season?
It's no secret that Shy and Focus are invaluable for the team. They are by far the most experienced and internationally renown players we have disposal of. When I had a quick look at the 'Player stats' of WC3L this morning I noticed that they currently had #1 and #2, so it would be unfair to choose between them. They are both irreplaceable.
Since Kei is a student and doesn't practice much and YangE is pretty much retired, what do you think of Space and MinHyuk this season? Space seems to have some problems winning that elusive 3rd game in a mirror and MinHyuk seems to capitalize only in mirror, problems?
We are aware and confident about the whole situation, Kei and Yange have different priorities and we have to respect that, they are still able to perform when needed and that shows strength.
Is it a problem that Minhyuk is a mirror specialist? Not at all, is it a problem for whO? All we have to do is to tend and take care of this bonus. This is why we matched him vs Grubby in the MYM match and I'm confident he will step up to the task.
Space has been solid as always, perhaps not as solid as last season but that's a very high standard to have on a player I would say that he is still good, but perhaps slightly overconfident when it comes to deciding matches.
So, what made MYM lose? Luck? Bad day for MYM? What would you go with?
This morning I started reading all the forums with my morning coffee as usual, and as usual it's full of crap. Most threads and posters are about fnatic's lineup luck.
A bad day, sure that's quite possible indeed but I'd say it lies more in the lack of competence of MYM's management. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that their management is worse than any other team's I'm just saying that they that they are on the same low level as the rest of them. Several days before the match we analyzed and calculated MYM's previous matches, as well as our own. The possibilities of map, races and players. MYM's players are world class stars. Every single one of them are capable of beating any opponent on any map. What we had to do was to minimize that.
Was it luck that we put Space on GW? Of course not, we knew that he'd get an elf. We have two orcs and we avoided them both from GW and SV because we knew that MYM would try to get an elf v orc matchup on those maps.
Instead we wanted our mirror specialist to get Grubby, we did the so called old 'switcharoo' it was very well planned and it turned out perfectly. I'm not promising a thundering win for MinHyuk against Grubby because he's is a very worthy opponent but it did result in a win on GW for us.
Thanks! and good luck for the remaining games!
