This coming Wednesday sees the beginning of the Insidiae Cup Brackets for Fnatic.CoD4. Their opponents are fellow Swedes, NinthGaming.
Having been drawn in Group 1, NinthGaming, had to face one noticeable challenge, the renewed lineup of Reason-Gaming, but the European squad proved to be too good for the Swedes, meaning they could only qualify second having beaten QiNex and drawing with RODCAD. Second place in the group stage meant they'd have to face a top finishing team; enter Fnatic.
Despite a shaky start to the groups with a draw versus the Italian team, Cubesports, Fnatic managed to qualify at the top of Group 4 by slowly improving, first beating MYGAME 13-11 and then IS 13-02. Now the team will be looking to carry through with their momentum in this best of three match, allowing themselves to stay in contention of the top prize.
