I wouldn't doubt it! You can find cheap products on the internet very often! Oh and Eko is right. This headset is shit!
Did the financial crisis hit fnatic already? Or why are you trying to sell trash?

These are by far Steelseries best product and to make a comment about the quality in that manner is madness. Majority of Professional gamers use them and quality has never been an issue.
you may be able to find a low price through a promotion, but not a standard price.
This is a great deal, for a great headset!

Maybe u should ask yourself why proffesional gamers use steelshit.
If u didnt noticed, steelseries sponsor ALOT of teams and give away their stuff, so that the teams can represent their stuff on LANs and convince clueless boys like you to buy their stuff, just coz the profs use it.
am i rite?
and im talking out of experience. I had a lot of headsets, including siberias. And there are even cheaper headsets that are better then this. For example the creative fatal1ty headset is better then the siberias(fatal1ty headset costs like 25-30 euro's). What do i mean with better? The range that u can hear footsteps/gunsounds and quality of it.
If I would buy a headset in that price range, would def. go for Sennheisers. Any sennheiser > siberias

I'm sorry Eko but I'd like to declare idiot on you.
The range to hear footsteps etc, is decided purely on Software. (Well possibly volume ofcourse, but that's retarded) Depending on the game settings and your Soundcard settings you can hear low sounds from far distances. It has nothing to with the brand on your headset.
Quality, is a point of yours and it's valid, mayhap that it's presented in a profoundly retarded way.
If I purchase a pair of cheap Ipod headphones of crap and then I take my contruction site sound-blockers to put over them, I would trick my mind to think that it greatly improves the quality of the sound. But believe me. No manufacturer will make any headphones with such bad quality that you'd actually be able to hear a difference between, let's say Siberia and Fatal1ty.
However, just to outnerd myself I think I know of a very old headset, pre year 2000 I think, that actually had it's own Soundcard installed in it, which could be used to "overclock" game settings to hear sounds from even further away.
Well, I'm sorry. I ramble on and on. What I meant to say was that you suck.

Nice arguments
easy to say that on the internet no? wait let me say it too
YOU SUCK
so...about that range. Your right and your wrong. Ofc its depending on your soundcard. Get a 300€ headset with no soundcard and it will fail. But ive tested that range/distances. I have a good soundcard (x-fi xtremegamer) and volume is high and played like 2 to 3 weeks with each headset I own(except Sennheiser PC161, coz they own other headsets here atm, use them everyday now).
And there is a clear difference. You wouldnt notice, coz Im guessing u only had Steelseries headset and no other headset. Ive tested a lot and just saying my opinion. Dont care if you buy them, just warning you.
for the other people, feel free to buy them and say that they are the greatest headsets of the world. Ofc...not if you tried a sennheiser before.

It's okay to give your opinion, just the way you do it is quite offensive and rude.

I actually use the Everglide Rotterdam Headphones. They are good. They block out sound from surroundings and are quite comfortable.
Before that I used my Sony headphones that I bought with my guitar amplifier, they were also nice.
Before that I used a pair of Sennheiser I got from Serious Gaming, but they weren't comfortable enough, which eventually lead to me replacing them. Quality was fine though.
I'm not being biased towards Steelseries, I just think you are giving them unfair critisizm with vague arguments.

lol @ spittie.
the reason why the fatal1ty headset and the siberia don't sound that different is because the sound quality sucks. All they give out is noise. (they never have clear, analytical freqs).

A headset is not a mouse pad. A mouse is not a mouse pad. SteelSeries mouse pads are good.

I dont think that Siberia is bad ... u just need a good Soundcard ... I used Sennheiser 161 USB ... i like the sound for MP3 (Music) ... But i dont like the fitting to the head and ingame ... i mean especially in CS , UT i use the Siberia ... its fitting on the head is well made ... and the Sound is well for playing games ^^ ... but without the USB Soundcard this Headset is waste of money ...
And if you got enough money fot the Sennheiser 350 PC ... buy it !!! ^^
Best Quality in any case ... fitting is nice and the sound is great ^^
And the Fatal1ty Headset is crap ... cheap production ... bought it once , broke everytime and resend it -.-. But the sound quality is nearly the same as Siberia with an Icemat Soundcard
