Esports for resistant! - Part Three

Esports team - how to do it in the world?
In the previous part of the series devoted to Esports we presented the best known organizations in Poland. We also promised that in the next instalment we would take a closer look at how they approach issues in different parts of the world. Time stick with that promise.

Many of you may not be aware of it, but the world's Esports market is really big. In countries such as Germany, Sweden and across the Asian continent, there are no problems in obtaining financial sponsors, even the most insane project related that are a gamble. I wrote about a team, the true power of the electronic world. The richest are supported by global brands and the amount they earn is often counted in tens of thousands of Euros. The best organized is behind the scene: there are people responsible for carrying out specific tasks, from booking hotels to support players in the media. And finally, reaching the best results, no matter whether on their home stage, whether in the finals of big events such as the World Cyber Games. There is probably no Esports player who would not want to go at least once at a tournament wearing a jersey of one of these teams. Because the greatest team in the world of computer games is a real company. Getting to know them.

FnaticMSI (United Kingdom)
The team, created in 2004 by Sam Matthews, was started to provide support to the player Sander "Vo0" Kaasjager in the CPL World Tour. Kaasjager eventually lost the tournament and came second, but fnatic five years later has become one of the dominant teams in the world Esports. It is like the FC Barcelona of video games. Managed by students, employing only the enthusiasts. Their Star-Division, Counter-Strike is the bane of many years for Polish "Golden Five", they regularly play them in the most prestigious events. The financial support is ensured by their powerful title sponsor, the company MSI. Including thanks to the Matthews' team, they have a high tech office combined with exercise and a place for players. Fnatic is able to regularly pay the players their "trips" to tournaments all around the world. Fnatic' World of Warcraft team has even been in a documentary. Interesting fact: the Fnatic website has been co-created by Polish web site developer, Michael Dudek.
