Tonight, fnaticMSI.CoD4 returns. The loveable Swedes are back with a bang after a short Christmas hiatus following their victory at Slap Live #16. Despite having been one of the most successful teams in Call of Duty 4, there will be changes but the latest additions are sure to prove favourites with all our fnaticMSI fans.

Unfortunately the time has come to say goodbye to Mikael "zsilts" Smedberg and Robin "rivve" Holmén. Smedberg has been with the team since the start, proving pivotal at CDC4 as well as turning in a great performance at i33 after which he took a brief break, returning to the lineup before Slap Live #16 helping them regain winning ways. Holmén also took part at the Danish Lan in October where he was a revelation with his amazing sniper work, picking out great kills for the team. However with the recent indecision in the CoD scene both players lost motivation for the game and have gained other commitments. So all that is left to say is thank you and good luck in the future to both Robin and Mikael.

Joining the squad we have 19 year old Kalle "nikokick" Carlden and 20 year old Conney "KyoChi" Sjöberg both formerly of Begrip-Gaming who will be taking up Spec Ops and Assault roles respectively within the team. Sjöberg has also had success in other areas of eSports having won Eurocup 3 times with Northern Darkness in Soldier of Fortune 2 whereas Carlden is more of a new talent. Both players will bring a wealth of skill to the team in 2009.

fnaticMSI.kboy: As all of you are aware there has been lots of discussion and debate on the Call of Duty series. One of the reasons we initially decided to break from the game. However I am pleased and delighted to announce the new FnaticMSI Call of Duty 4 line-up in support of the community and other organizations that are continuing to promote this title. As you might imagine we are sad to loose two of our previous members, but delighted to welcome some new faces to strengthen and reinvigorate our lineup going forward whilst maintaining other existing players.

fnaticMSI.LINQAN: Things have been quiet around fnatic.cod4 since the Slap LAN in October, I can assure you now that we’re back on full throttle in the scene. We have made some changes regarding the lineup with the removal of rivve and zsiltzs but gained new power in KyoChi and nikokick from Begrip. It feels better than ever with these two additions, looking forward to having them on my side. I want to thank fnatic for the continued support they are giving us and i'm now looking forward to see what 2009 got to offer.

fnaticMSI.KyoChi: The Swedish top players have been divided and locked into two-three different teams, everyone’s aware of that, Johan and I gathered up to start working on a team that could challenge the world’s elite while carrying the feeling that you have the perfect mix of players the Swedish scene can offer. I’m thrilled of being part of fnatic and for what is to come, I’d like to thank fnatic for continued support, putting faith in the team and for believing in the CoD4 Scene, the last being vital at this point. The fireworks have been lit, sit back and watch the show, onto 2009!

Good luck guys, certainly potential there if you keep practicing hard like I know you have been. Return to your CoD4 dominating form, we saw glimpses at Slap now show consistently why you're in fnaticMSI <3
