Today marks the end of one era and the beginning of another. It is with great regret that we announce today, the departure of long time FnaticMSI.CoD4 player, Robin 'rivve' Holmen. More details about why Robin is leaving the team, and who will be replacing him can be found inside.

Robin has been a part of the FnaticMSI.CoD4 squad on and for for roughly a year and a half and sadly, now has to depart the team due to personal circumstances outside of E-Sports.

Replacing Robin on the squad will be Norwegian Call of Duty player, Daniel 'zEnith' Johansen. Daniel comes to us from a few notable teams such as Oslo Lions, Reason Gaming and Team Dignitas. We are delighted to have Daniel on board and look forward to seeing him in action.

Statements from Conney 'KyoChi' Sjoberg, Daniel 'zEnith' Johansen and Neil 'kboy' Kirk can be seen below:

pictureAfter a successful year, with winning the biggest events, traveling around Europe 14 times, spreading death wherever we go and winning numerous awards. Robin found himself worn out and will take a break from professional gaming to focus on other things in his life. We’ve been scouting around for a replacement to attend cic7 for a month or so and we’ve finally made a decision, Daniel “zEnith” Johansen will take his place with Assault. A big thanks goes out to FnaticMSI management, MSI, SS, Bigfoot Networks, Slappa and Ugame for allowing Daniel to join the squad.

Daniel 'zEnith' Johansen:
pictureHello I'm back again, I'm really looking forward to playing with the FnaticMSI team on and offline and thanking them for the opportunity! We're all training hard for CIC7 which will be the first test for us as a team and we hope we continue the success of last year. Thanks to all of the Fnatic sponsors, MSI, SteelSeries, Bigfoot Networks, UGAME and SLAPPA.

Neil 'kboy' Kirk:
pictureAs many in the community will already been aware recently Robin (Rivve) had to step down from the FnaticMSI Call of Duty squad that dominated all of last summer. Unfortunately pressing real life issues and commitments were the main reason behind this. We thank him for all he did and will keep in touch, but wish him best wishes and good luck for the future. So that left us needing to find a direct replacement. After some trials we finally welcome Daniel (Zenith) into the line-up. A player that has had much experience in teams such as ButtonBashers, Reason-Gaming and Team Dignitas in the past to name a few. We welcome him and wish the lineup well in the upcoming events, with first stop CIC7 Martch 5th-7th. Thank you to the Fnatic sponsors: MSI, SteelSeries, Bigfoot Networks, UGAME and SLAPPA for making this possible.
