The sign-up period is over and we are proud to announce the names of 28 teams that will take place in our first ever Female Counter Strike 1.6 tournament.

UPDATE: Pink Zinic win the PLAY CS 1.6 female tournament after beating mousesports 2 : 0 in two extremely close maps, a full review of the game will be published tomorrow morning

• Qualification Round starts at 2pm CET - Best of 1 Format: Map de_dust2.
• Round of Sixteen starts at approximately 3pm CET - Best of 3 Format: Map de_inferno, Loser picks second map.

It required a lot of dedication and work from the moment we came up with idea to create this tournament and support the females CS 1.6 community, to where we are now. Thanks to our sponsors MSI and SteelSeries, we are able to provide decent prizes for top three teams as well as the MVP of the tournament. Prizes along with the organization and PLAY brand brought us top teams from Europe to compete in the tournament.

• With 28 teams in 32 teams bracket, we will have 4 BYE's in the first round, which means that 6 teams will go directly to the second round. First and second round will be played in the best out of one system.
• If the team doesn't have at least one representative in our IRC channel, #Fnatic.PLAY on the Quakenet server, it will be removed from the tournament with immediate effect. Have at least 1 person in our channel from 12:00 CET, 2 hours prior to the tournament.
• Matches cannot be started without an admin's confirmation. Admins need to be contacted before the matches starts, and make sure the HLTV stream is properly set.
• HLTV stream will be provided for all matches.
• The Bracket for the tournament will be released tonight.

As well as these brilliant prizes for the top three teams, we have one special prize thanks to our sponsor, MSI. The prize will be an MSI Wind U160 laptop for the MVP of the tournament. The most valuable player will be the player who has played the best throughout the whole of the tournament and stood out above the rest; this will be decided at the end of the tournament by the FnaticPLAY staff.
