Chia Cheng 'SEn' Yang has joined the FnaticMSI StarCraft II squad.

After many months have past, Chia Cheng 'SEn' Yang is back with FnaticMSI. Our new Taiwanese addition has been with us in StarCraft: Brood War months back, and has ever since represented Asian outfit DuskBin E-Sports.

SEn is a widely recognized name in the StarCraft scene, and has been one of the top Asian players in its first edition. Both team-wise and personal he has achieved many great prizes, with notable ones being a first place WCG Taiwan 2004, 2005 and 2009 and a third place in the Poker Strategy Team Liquid Starleague 2010.

The Zerg player made the switch to StarCraft II in the early Beta stage of the game. He made a good impression by winning various CraftCups and other online tournaments. Currently, Chia Cheng lies seventh in the Battle.net Taiwanese ladder with 160 wins and 64 losses. A respectable ratio.

Statement by FnaticMSI's latest SC2 addition, SEn:

"I feel happy to join FnaticMSI, as they are one of the best team in the world. Their players are best  in any game.  I spend time to decide on a team and now I found it; FnaticMSI was my final choice. I hope to achieve strong results in the future, I have been playing many SC2 games since its release and I've played a few in European competitions online. I hope to play more in the future.  In order to keep me focused on my training, FnaticMSI have provided me with all the necessary equipments such as gaming peripherals.  Last I want to thanks FnaticMSI's sponsors:  MSI, SteelSeries, Bigfoot Networks, SLAPPA & Ugame."

Elroy 'Noname' Pinto, General Manager and the man in charge of our RTS divisions, gave this statement:

"About time! I've had the pleasure of chasing up with SEn for the last 4 and a half weeks since we expressed desire to pick him up. After finally getting him on board I can proudly say that we have one of the best players in the world signed on to our team. We are extremely happy with this pick and more so because he chose to join FnaticMSI when the offers were pouring in. Chia Cheng was once a part of our StarCraft team and as such found the right level of trust in us. I'd like to thank our sponsors - MSI, SteelSeries, BigFoot Networks & UGAME for making this possible and also a big welcome to SEn. In the next few days we will be restructuring FnaticMSI.StarCraft II, so stay tuned for those changes!"

On the next page you can find a small interview with Chia Cheng 'SEn' Yang about his feelings regarding rejoining FnaticMSI and StarCraft II in general.

We've done a quick interview with SEn about how he feels to return to FnaticMSI.

How is it to be back to FnaticMSI?

"I'm as excited as ever to be back and I'm really look forward to that. FnaticMSI has been the big boss in various E-Sports games clinching most of the titles. This also indicates that there will be a lot of challenges ahead for me!"

What do you think about your new team mates?

"To be honest I've only spoken to IefNaij, Fenix ,Gretorp and TT1 among my team mates in FnaticMSI.SC2. Gretorp and TT1 are incredibly interesting to be friends with, it's such an honour to be their team mate. As for the others, I guess I am still not close enough with them, but I am looking forward to the day where I can get to know them better."

Do you think StarCraft II can become as big as StarCraft: Brood War was?

"This is undebatable and it's just a fact. I even think that it is just a matter of time until SC2 will beat every other esports game out there. It's just a perfect new game for esport, but I think the balance of the game will play a very huge role in the level of its success and also a big challenge. buff Zerg buff Zerg  Gogo!"

What is needed to make StarCraft as big in the entire world as it is in South Korea?

"The interest of sponsors and companies are very important, the amount of spectators is also one of the factors. I'm not really an expert when it comes to this, so my only concern will be about how I will defeat my opponents in StarCraft II"

What tournaments are you looking forward to most?

"I am looking forward to every tournament with huge prize  purses, but I have one which I really do not look forward to and that would be none other than the WCG 2010 Grand Final. I won the WCG qualifier held in my country last month, but the Korean pro's are just too much for everyone else. I am still considering if I should put some effort into training SC1 for WCG. I feel that the effort will not pay off."

Any final shout outs to your fans?

"Thanks to all the fans who have been supporting me. Please continue your cheering for me and I will show you the best of my game."
