Recently, news broke of the FnaticMSI Counter-Strike squad not participating in the upcoming season of the EPS. This has now changed.

FnaticMSI announced today the teams’ intentions of participating in the EPS once again.  It seems in result of recent discussions between the FnaticMSI Counter-Strike squad, and the ESL, that certain concerns the team had have been addressed.  Thus, FnaticMSI will begin competing in the EPS as soon as they arrive back in Europe after MSI’s BEAT IT tournament in Beijing China.

FnaticMSI.CS team captain, Patrik ‘cArn’ Sattermon had this to say on the situation:

After several discussions with the staff from ESL we came to the conclusion that FnaticMSI would return to the EPS season and we will take up the race to win the title when we come back from Beijing where we are now participating in the MSI Beat it finals.
I would like to use this moment to thank ESL for listening to our concerns and we do hope the upcoming season will run smoothly. I also want to send my apologizes to the community for the confusion we have caused in the past week but I promise we will pay you back in terms of intensive games in the season 3.
