Andrew "adn" Clark, born and raised in flag Middlesborough and now living in Guisborough. He's always been and idiot and not bothered with education although he passed 6 GCSE's without going to school for almost a year before the exams - he wasn't happy though... A* student become nothing more than a few B's and C's!

Since then he's been working in electronic sports and writing in particular having wrote for the like of Bit Tech and MeetYourMakers. It all started with Counter-Strike, although he finds it pretty boring now and no longer plays the game. Now he's looking for work within the realm of gaming or technology that involves writing which is why he recently applied for PCGamer (UK).

flag cZar

Although cZar was predominantly comprised of Finnish players it was in fact founded by myself and r1ck and sported a Finish Day of Defeat team along side a UK Counter-Strike team and Quake team. The now Dignitas member, HELL, played Quake for us for some time before accepting the offer from Dignitas.

Since myself and r1ck decided we no longer wanted to run the organization it has been through the works including several changes of management. At one time an American guy was heading it up and then Wallu and 4nkor got hold of it and made it into what it is today - part of Logitech.fi.

On the 3rd April 2007 they announced that cZar had merged with Logitech.fi and with that my great baby was gone forever!

flag MeetYourMakers

Over a six month period I have been working for Regroup eSports on their MeetYourMakers project. Initially I joined the organisation as a volunteer writer and would write scene news, articles, interviews and coverage for the team's website. After around two months I was asked if I would take up the position of Counter-Strike ESUP (Editorial Supervisor) and take care of the site's Counter-Strike content and staff.

Throughout my "career" in electronic sports I would have to say that MeetYourMakers has been the best organisation I've worked with, although there's always the possibility of better one's being out there somewhere.

flag Infinity Gaming

Infinity Gaming is a LAN organiser here in the United Kingdom. All the staff, from the management down to the volunteers, come from a gaming background so should know what makes a good LAN event - to date there's has been no bad feedback from events or major problems!

So what do I do for these? I am one of several people who talk to possible sponsors of events and the organisation as a whole. I also spend a lot of time conjuring new idea's with regards to the organisations growth, both online and offline. I don't think we've used any of them yet mind... am I that bad?

picture

In the past I have wrote for a number of organisations. Below is a list (in order from most previous to whatever isn't previous). As far as I know I have managed to get them all in there, but I may have missed one or two!

At the moment I am looking into going back to college, although I've been to two different college and attempted three courses and had enough in around 2 weeks. I suppose this all depends on the outcome of my application for PCGamer, perhaps they will provide training etc? And I will most likely need to move to Bath so it could be an ideal time to go back to college; new location, new me?

As a final note I would like to thank LINKAGE and Stage Studios for the graphics used in my profile!
