Chinese Counter-Strike team TyLoo.raw will miss the ESWC Grand Finals.
TyLoo has issued a statement to Zotob.org stating that they will not be able to attend the ESWC Grand Finals in Paris, France this summer. According to the statement, TyLoo claims that Beijing Ruidashuachuan Inc, organizer of the ESWC Chinese qualifier, is not willing to fund the team to France, as the Chinese government does not see Counter-Strike as a true eSport. The TyLoo organization is not able to fund the trip themselves, and therefore the CS team is forced to miss the event.
Beijing Ruidashuachuan Inc will be sending players in FIFA, Warcraft III and DotA, as the Chinese government does see these games as actual eSports titles worth funding.
