Probably one of the most mannered players in the Warcraft 3 professional gaming world, Bernardo 'PaTo' Rodrigues chose to leave his team mortal Team work. PaTo an elf player hailing from Brazil made his mark with teams like united 5 and the infamous jNg.

While the arrival of the Koreans in mTw could be one of the reasons, he has also decided to take a step back from professional gaming and in an exclusive interview with us he sat down to explain the reason behind his departure.

Interview:

Hey, Bernardo (PATO's real name), we find your name missing from the mTw roster on the ngl one and wc3l website, could you fill us in on the details?
Yo. The main thing is that I was low on motivation already and I didnt like my team as much I used to, so I decided to stop playing to concentrate some on studies, then I left the roster.

Is it an informed decision, one that you carefully made after talking to your managers? OR?
Yes, I informed the team that I was going to leave and also be inactive after KODE5. Not much of a loss for mTw anyway.

Coming back to your 1st answer, you said that you didn't like your team, is there a reason behind it?
Well, on the past (hoorai, sca, u5 etc) we were a team that always helped each other, talked a lot and had fun! Maybe its just me not the rest of the team but I don't feel much of that atmosphere any more and I found it really boring, don't like to stay like a robot unfortunately

I won't put any words in your mouth but was the arrival of the Koreans a factor in your move?
Hmm I cant say that because I didn't even speak with them, but well I would for sure get less playtime *Laughs* ( if I had any playtime)

Moving on, you said that you would retire after playing at the KODE5 Grand finals, what are your thoughts going into this tournament?
Will be a sad farewell, probably gonna drink till I cry with rotti and nightwolf(if he goes to russia)!

You will be missed, any plans to continue on in e-Sports as a commentator or a manager?
Well lets see what time brings on

Such a lazy answer, What are your plans after retirement?
I'll focus on studying to get into a good university then.. lets see what time brings on!

Ok, will we see WinNerS in the lineup?
I have no clue about that... but it would make mTw into huge powerhouse I guess!

No it won't! What are your final thoughts about your Warcraft 3 career and this final good bye? What are the highlights? Who are the people you will miss?
I think all the time I spent playing warcraft was definitely worth it.. for all the friendships I made and places I got to visit! I'll surely miss my old mates from u5 and jNg and a lot of other names *Laughs*.. But I'll keep in touch
