Dutch 1on1 FPS legend Vo0 will once again grab the mouse to attend the Dutch ESWC qualifier in Enschede in more than a month.
With the announcement of Quake 3 to the list of official tournament games instead of Quake 4 it was a matter of time before several big names announced their return from retirement, to once again play their beloved game, Quake 3.
Earlier this week SK-Gaming announced their share in the re-introduction of Quake 3 with the addition of ZeRo4 and rapha. Today the great news came out that FPS legend and former fnatic player, Sander "Vo0" Kaasjager signed up for the Dutch ESWC Quake 3 qualifier. Whether this means the comeback of the Dutchman or a fun experience is not stated so far.
Not much has to be said about Vo0’s career. In the 2005 CPL World Tour, Kaasjager won five out of nine stops and earned $232,000. Furthermore, he became the CPL World Champion 2004 after winning both the summer and the winter event in Dallas, USA that year.
Alongside Kaasjager, other names such as if-22, Kyra and Weird have already confirmed their participation in the Dutch ESWC qualifier tournament at the WZZRD gamecafe in Enschede. On June 7th these players will play for one ticket to the ESWC Grand Finals in San Jose, California.
