After a succesful run both online and offline, the Dutch KomaCrew releases Roman "roman" Semjonov from the team due to internal conflicts and personal life.
KomaCrew reached a first place at the Acer Challenge in Enschede, Netherlands, beating teams such as H2k, Serious Gaming and Sample This. Due to the victory in Enschede the team will be send the the ipowergames to represent the Netherlands.
To get the maximum result, Roman "roman" Semjonov departed the team. There were several internal conflicts, and Semjonov wants to focus more on his personal life and job, "I've made the decision to quit cod4 at for the moment, because I've got a fulltime job that Im starting on monday". Team captain Kevin "svo" de Groot clearly states the other reason: "Everyone can guess the reason(s) of his departure as most of you know roman".
In the meanwhile Youri "kasparov" Mohrs, who recently went into activity, will return to the team as back-up, but will not go to the ipowergames in Paris, France. KomaCrew have attracted the newly joined Sample This member, Kaj "Kajsk1ng” van Staalduinen to do this job. Van Staalduinen will be playing as stand-in, but it is likely he will be joining the team if he impresses.
Everyone can guess the reason
"After playing with some months with roman it is time to part ways. Everyone can guess the reason(s) of his departure as most of you know roman. Its sad for me to say goodbye to a teammate and a friend. However i do believe in a short time already it will work out better for our team, since most of the other players could not really get along with roman", Kevin "svo" de Groot says to TEK-9.org.
"We have set our eyes on a couple of players, but we can not really decide yet since some of them cannot attend all the lans we are going to present at this summer. So soon after iPower Paris you will get more information concerning our line up change.
I wish roman the best of luck with his job and life and whatever he might do in gaming in the future."
The temporary KomaCrew lineup is as followed:
