After a succesful group stage where all matches were won, Infused are on top of their respective group. Roald 'Roychez' Van Buuren and Ben 'Karsh' Forbes caught up with Adam 'vanner' Vanner to chat about the team, the rumours around it and the event itself. Sit back and enjoy!

Hey Vanner, how is i34 so far for you, enjoying your time there?
Yeh, it's really good, I miss some features from the Newbury Race course, but overall this venue is a lot better. I also had a lot of fun exploring in my car, it's like 30 square miles big :D

Is it as much fun as The-eXperience and Antwerp eSports Festival were?
This lan is more fun, this is a social lan, The Experience and the Antwerp Esports Festival are competetive lans but the people there all nice guys, so it's a good atmosphere. I-series just feels like home :).

With a new venue comes a new challenge for the i-Series, what are your impressions of Stoneleigh Park?
Fantastic really, such a great upgrade from Newbury, although I do miss the fact I knew the secrets of that place (the toilets no 1 infected with gamer poop, etc). :D

Did you got to see Gemma at the opening?
Na, I was busy watching Reason do tac nades so couldn't attend!

Shame, she was the highlight for me at i34 so far!
She is mighty fine ;) Nice baps too!

Anyways, enough of that. We have seen Team Infused in two seriously close matches, how is i34 going for you and the team?
Very well, as expected really, we were a little worried about playing tetris on crash as they normally beat us easily in pcw's. I think our experience and their lack of experience showed. They will improve with each game though.

The Team Infused vs Aspire Gaming match, in round 4 it was a very close call. With Team Infused pulling the victory with a score of 13 – 11. How was that match for you?
Well, we did a few coin tosses and brkN won, meaning he had the oppurtunity to get the highest frag total in the group stages, meaning you get a graphics card or something. BrkN however is a failure and didn't even get to 30, we basically messed about and had some fun with some nice guys :).

Another match what was a close call was with Envy-Gaming. Just a two point gap from an lose. Are you not worried that these close matches might back fire for you in the final stages of the tournament?
Well, vacant was a bit weird playing and we went about 10-5 up and I minimzied to watch the Olympic opening ceremony for 5 rounds and then we finished the job. We seperate our mindset well when playing these type of teams because we know we should win if we just play our normal stuff. We'll turn on our A-game like we did versus tetris when it matters I'm sure :)

As the score stands now, Team Infused has won all their matches. How are you feeling for the next stage of the tournament, the Elimination Round?
Confident, especially now Sample This are whining about little things, were in the Guitar Hero 3 section and no one has headphones, so it's not as if it really effects you, were confident playing anyone really, and were on home turf which only helps us. I think top 5 will be in our reach.

What team are you most worried about in this tournament?
EG - winners of TeX and one of the best teams in Call of Duty at the moment.

There have been rumours that revoltz and brokN will be joining Reason after the i34, true or false?
So many answers I'd want to give, I'll give the no comment for now :)

What will you guys do after i34, any roster changes coming or LAN events planned?
We'll probably have some chill time for a couple of weeks then come back active and strong for the winter events. Roster changes might happen, we'll see how this tournament progresses for us and have a debrief of the whole summer after I-series.

Thanks for your time Vanner, and good luck and have fun in the rest of the tournament!
Cheers mate, shoutouts to all infused and our sponsors: Qpad, Multiplay.co.uk and Plantronics, without them nothing would be possible. Cya!

Funny, I just watched the demo and it didn't look like you were minimized at all. Odd? 2 screens?
