After MeetYourMakers decided to release their team, Dignitas follows by removing their team.
Team Dignitas' Call of Duty 4 squad started of decent with a third place at the Antwerp eSports Festival, but the team couldn't keep the form up and disappointing results followed.
A 7-8th placing at both The-eXperience and at their "home-ground" the i34 combined with internal problems (blackmane raging SKO and being forgotten three times) caused the team to stop the venture. "We went into the summer LAN season with confidence in our team, after a good tournament in Antwerp the performance took a nose dive and the chemistry within the team was affected by that", Fredrik Reinius, manager of Dignitas stated.
Thankfully Dignitas will keep supporting the game and will announce a new team this weekend, as Reinius continued: "we will keep supporting Call of Duty 4, it's far from dead."
The Dignitas lineup was:
Rumours go that a few former MeetYourMakers players (SoCLoN and lookzor) will join Kinnair, Bradshaw and Baker for a full British squad under Dignitas tag once again. Johansen is said to be returning to his former team mates over at Oslo Lions, who are currently rebuilding their team. Dirks will most likely return to his old home, TEK9, to fill up the open spot there.
