
The Electronic Sports World Cup committee have announced the regulations for the 2008 Grand Final to be held in San Jose, California, United States later this month.
ESWC Grand Final 2008 will run from 25-27th August 2008 at the NVISION 08 event in San Jose, California and will a host of top-flight international Counter-Strike 1.6 teams in action.
The tournament kicks off with a traditional two set best-of-one Group Stage followed by an 8-team Single Elimination Bracket to be played in the best-of-three format.
The map pool includes de_dust2, de_nuke, de_train, de_inferno and de_tuscan.

There are in total a number of 38 teams to date which include the likes of Made in Brazil, Evil Geniuses, SK Gaming, Fnatic or current world champions Meet Your Makers.
