According to the German news-portal fragster the NGL Finals will not take place on the Games Convention.

Meanwhile it is the fifth edition of a NGL season. We have seen exciting and surprising matches and can look back on a interesting season at all. But it is not as fine as expected: There is one thing missing, the finals!

First announced to be held on this year's Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany, the head of the NGL now made a step back and denied the Games Convention as venue.

While most of the sponsors where on the Games Convention last year and therefore made it a very attractive place for the finals to take place, most of the sponsors sized down their presence on this year's Games Convention. Michael Haenisch, head of the NGL, argued that there would be no need of the finals to take place at such an special place since there are less sponsors. Furthermore he mentioned that the date of the NGL Finals and the ESWC in San Jose, California, would overlap, and that a postponing is essential.

Berlin, which is the place of business of the Freaks4u GmbH - the company that owns the NGL - is recognized by many as the new venue for the Finals. As there has not been a statement revealed, yet, we have to wait for the new date and place to be announced.
