Mark "mark" Horner replaces Burak "haya" Aydın at TEK9 as fifth member.
Aydın left TEK9 a few weeks ago due to him wanting to focus more on his private life. Later that day he joined NCS Gaming and TEK9 was left with a gap.
Rumours were that former Dignitas player SKO would come over to secure a more Benelux based lineup. Just a few days ago thoughts changed when it became apparent that RaigeKi left H2k Gaming, but all these rumours have been proven wrong today by TEK9.
Horner made himself a name playing for the young British Call of Duty 4 team of MeetYourMakers, who recently were released from their organization due to disappointing results and folded.
"I am very happy to join a team as respectable as TEK9, the team has a nice atmosphere and I would like to thank everyone at TEK9 for the opportunity I have been given, see you all at the next lans and shouts to everyone I know ^_^ If any of you would like to talk to me, add my xfire xcediuz (s4o jase :D)", said Horner.
Alexander "KNALLER" Shulepov had this to say about the recent addition: "After a brief search for a 5th gamer for the upcoming tournaments, we have found mr Mark Horner. This former MYM star is a calm and smart player, and so far he fits like a glove.
Hopefully we can get our game sorted now and win some stuff again, it's been too long! The only downside that I have found is that he cannot handle alcohol that well. I would also like to add that the fact that Mark is a caucasian with some immense english-skills has nothing to do with him joining us. Good luck Mark, and thanks to Steelseries for their continued support!"
With Horner added, the TEK9 lineup is this:
