One of the youngest and most successful Quake players at the moment, Maciej 'av3k' Krzykowski, will not be able to attend the ESWC Finals in San José. Unfortunately, the polish gamer couldn’t get a VISA for the United States.

Maciej won the latest Quake III event who took place in Spain, also known as GameGune. Furthermore he finished third at Paris for the ESWC Masters. In the official press release made by his team Serious Gaming, av3k said that “Life is brutal sometimes”.

Serious Gaming’s manager, basZ, told to ESReality that “Its difficult for me to judge the situation from here. Av3k had to renew his visa, and thought it would not cause any problems. Unfortunately things went different then hoped and expected. This is a blow for the ESWC tournament, it loses a great competitor full of ambition to defend his title”.
