Roskilde Ravens, Denmark's Number one Call of Duty Four team have decided to change their lineup.
Having always been around the top of the European CoD4 scene, Danish side, Roskilde Ravens have removed two of their more renown players replacing them with one former wegame player and the other replacement returning from inactivity.
Team Captain, Kenneth "fRiJeC" Jensen, will be leaving the squad so he can take a bigger managerial role within Roskilde eSports - the Ravens 'mother' organisation; whilst sniper Mik “Champ” Bødtker will also be leaving the squad, taking a position as backup. Their replacements are Lars-Michael "LM" Milo-Sydow, who is returning from inactivity after earlier taking a break from gaming - the other is Kristian "Holbek" Holbek who will be taking over Captain duties for the team.
'More than just a player'
"Kenneth is more than just a player; he has huge potential when it comes to eSport, knowing organisations, teams and players etc." said Organisation manager, Jens Christian Ringdal, about fRijec, "It has been hard to work fully with these qualifications while Kenneth was playing actively for Ravens. With the reorganisation of our Call of Duty 4 team this is now possible."
When talking about Champ's movement to backup, Team Manager Jamie "Zino" Bach, had this to say, "We have seen Champ perform amazingly at both CDC4 and i33, but at both AEF and TEX he was not near past performances. I have had talks with Champ about this and it has come clear that he needs a break from the high level of gaming until he has once again found the sparkle that made him one of the best snipers in Europe."
Taking all these changes into account, the new Roskilde Ravens lineup is as follows:
