KomaCrew have officially announced their new multigaming organization; Button Bashers.
What seemed to be going towards a move to MeetYourMakers, mTw or mousesports, turned out very different. The Dutch team of KomaCrew have chosen to suprise us all and join the brand new gaming team, Button Bashers.
Ever since their win at the codQcup, Acer Challenge and second places at the iPowerGames and Antwerp eSports Festival KC has been in the spotlight of various organizations. The move seems somewhat strange and it still remains a questions if the organization is legit, but Micheal Groen, CEO of Button Bashers, seemed to convince them with "an offer any team could not refuse" - as Kevin "svo" de Groot said it himself - after spectating them at the Antwerp eSport Festival.
You can expect more teams added to the new Button Bashers organization. The Call of Duty 4 team will try to attend the PC Gamer Showdown, i35, Gamerland LAN in Italy and CDC5 and EasyBash.
We will give it our all
"We joined the ranks of KomaCrew all the way back since the last codqcup, since then we've had a great time in KomaCrew and really enjoyed our time there. We've met the managers on the Antwerp eSport Festival and we had a lot of fun in and outside the gaming area. However, since the IpowerGames in Paris we had conversations with Micheal since he was there to spectate us anonymously to see who we were. We decided to leave KomaCrew because we got this offer any team could not refuse. So finally after 1 month we are officialy joining Button Bashers as their first team", team captain De Groot stated.
"We are really happy with Micheal giving us this opportunity and we will give it our all to be on top of our game. I wanna thank the KomaCrew guys for helping us out th last couple of months, the management is great! Also wanna thank micheal for this chance."
