AMD announces in cooperation with WCG the AMD 2008 Challenge Black

In cooperation with International Cyber Marketing, the organizer of the WCG, the chip manufacturer AMD announced the 2008 edition of the AMD Challenge Black.

From August 24th to October 24th not only professional players will get the chance to earn a part of the 18,000.00€ prize money which is made up of cash and AMD and ATi products. The only thing you have do to is signing up here. As next step you got to install the GameOn addon and take part in the WarCraft III or FIFA 08 ladder. According to who you beat in the ladder and considering your win-loss-ratio you will get a rank in the ladder. The best-finishing players will receive the prizes.

But not only the ladder event is featured. In an all-star tournament which will kick off on September 6th the best WarCraft III players will clash for honor and money. The FIFA players will have their kick on October 4th.

The whole tournament schedule looks as follows:

• Ladder One - August 24 – September 4
  

• Ladder Two – September 7 – September 18
  

• Ladder One and Two Winners Tournament – September 20
  

• Ladder Three – September 21 – October 2
  

• Ladder Four – October 5 – October 16
  

• Ladder Three and Four Winners Tournament – October 18
  

• Final Tournament – October 19 at 6 a.m. CET
