The highly rated British lineup of Dignitas have changed one of their players.

Back in August, Team Dignitas, one of the more successful Call of Duty 4 teams thus far decided to change their roster, in came brothers Jason "lookzor" O'Connor and Daniel "SoCLoN" O'Connor formerly of MeetYourMakers and out went the squads european talents, Bas "Sko" Dirks and Daniel "Zenith" Johansen. Even before the team was seen in action many were signalling the new lineup to become Europes next top team.

Now however the squad have been forced to make changes with longest serving member, Michael "Mick" Bradshaw gradualy retiring from CoD4 (for now he will be taking a backup role in the squad). The former team captain has long been reported to be quitting gaming, so todays news has a sense of inevitability with it as frictions between current team captain, Chris "Blackmane" Kinnair and Bradshaw are well publicised.

To replace Bradshaw, Dignitas have called upon the services of Chris "nreo" Mead, formerly of Reason Gaming and Here2Own. Mead is somewhat of a new talent to the CoD scene having played CoD2 but recieving nowhere near the acclaim he now has.

'I've Got big shoes to fill'
line

"Everybody knows about the talent in this team and the deep history it has so I’m honoured to have been asked to join Dignitas." Said Mead to team-dignitas.org.

"’ve got big shoes to fill as Mick has been the central most important icon, player and leader for this team for as long as I can remember. But I’m always up for challenges and this is no different. It was an opportunity I really couldn’t refuse especially as soon as I started playing with the team and having had a chat with the management."

Obviously very excited about his new venture, Mead thinks the "sky’s the limit with these bunch of lads so I’m very proud to be a part of that."

Without further addue I present to you the new Dignitas.CoD4 roster:

  • flag Jonathan "raz" Baker
  • flag Jason "lookzor" O'Connor
  • flag Daniel "SoCLoN" O'Connor
  • flag Chris "nreo" Mead
  • flag Michael "Mick" Bradshaw
