Wei Lian 'Fly100%' Lu takes down Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen in the Grand Finals in the first season of the NGTV War3Leagues.
In an outstanding best of five series Fly100% won the first season and took a total of US$12,000 in prize money. Grubby took second place and won US$6,000.
Fly100% won the first game on Twisted Meadows, and was then standing with his back against the wall after Grubby won the next two games. However, the Chinese Orc player turned the game around and won the next two maps with an ending score of 3-2.
Grubby was pleased to give a statement directly after his loss versus Fly100%
I tried my best, lost, it sucks.
''I felt the finals was winnable, I made some mistakes, so did he, but mine were more numerous. I will be eating myself up about it for a while I guess, cuz I'm really disappointed. I tried my best, lost, it sucks'', said Grubby to Fnatic
