There have been some host problems due to the location of every player, starComa players were playing from Europe and the United States while World Elite players were playing from China and Korea. World Elite weren't satisfied about the hosts the admins gave them and threatened them by leaving the league. And it's done, WE.IGE.HoTLiPs gave a statement on the wNv-Gaming website explaining his decision for leaving the league and also his opinion about the NGL One.
"Hello everyone. To calm you down, WE.IGE will not disband. But nevertheless we have decided to leave NGL-One after winning the 2nd season. We are not satisfied with the performance of some administrators and to be honest also very disappointed of the behaviour of some teams and players. We did not take part in NGL season one because we were not sure if we could handle WC3L and NGL at the same time beside all the other leagues and 1on1 tourneys. After the shameful match vs sCa and talking to all players the management decided to leave the league. But NGL did not announce our exit so I delete all the players from our team profile to make the news public and to be sure that there is no way back. I have to admit that we had a nice time during the last season but due to the mentioned reasons and in foresight to our future plans it is the right time to give up this league. Nevertheless I am looking forward to the upcoming WC3L Finals which we really want to win to make the “double” perfect."
World Elite's manager,
"It was largely because of the match against sCa, there were a lot of problems and NGL isn't a league that suits most Asian teams"
We don't know yet who will take World Elite's slot in the NGL One league, stay tuned for further informations!
UPDATE - HotLiPs has issued another statement regarding the earlier statement he made, he retracts most of what has been mentioned by him earlier and the new one seems more apologetic in nature. Here it is:
Hello everyone again. Today I want to give another statement concerning our exit of NGL-One. I was really not fair in my attitude towards the NGL organisation. I want to say sorry for blaming the organisational performance and professionalism of the league and the truth is that there are financial reasons which make us leaving the league and some possible changes inside the team in the future as well. The team had a nice stay in Berlin at the Finals and without the help of NGL the trip would not have such a successful end. Please forgive me if I have damaged the image of the league. It was never my goal to do that. With kind regards - Clemens “HoTLiPs” Uhlig
Hopefully this is the last chapter in the saga of NGL ONE and WE.IGE! Thanks to wNv-gaming for the statement.
