The well known team Pandemic, one of the strongest Counter-Strike teams in North America have today announced that both
kEEN and Ph33R have left the team. kEEN has left to rejoin his old team United 5 to give the Championship Gaming Series a shot, whilst Ph33R has just decided to leave the team.

However, kEEN did have a few months left on his contract that Pandemic bought from United 5 when he joined. The Pandemic management gave the verification that kEEN can play in the same league as them as the two organisations have finally worked out an appropriate transfer deal.

To replace the two men comes Devour and elusive. Ironically, Devour was playing for United 5 when they beat Pandemic 10:7 in the CGS Eastern Online Qualifier. The situation with elusive is still weary as we are not sure whether his move is permanent.

The team are currently practising playing Counter-Strike: Source in order to qualify for the Championship Gaming Series, one of the biggest eSport events in gaming history. They have stated that they are not fully commited to playing a single game, but both games are on their agenda.

Despite the nature of this announcement, Team Pandemic is not fully committing to a transition to Source at this time. In June, Team Pandemic intends to fufill its obligations to participate in the WCG US Open in New York and also compete in the World Series of Video Games event at LANWAR. .. The CGS has not announced at this time if players will be allowed to compete or not compete outside of the CGS, so until further notice Team Pandemic will not be making a decision on 1.6 versus Source. Team Pandemic will continue to be a "Counter-Strike Team.
