CS:GO - vuggo to depart

Today we express our sincerest thanks to Fnatic legend, friend and CS:GO team manager vuggo, as he departs the organisation to embark on a new adventure with Fragbite.

Through the good times and challenging ones, Viktor has given us his absolute all. You only need to look at our place in the CS:GO scene over the last 2 and a half years; at our teams’ place in Counter-Strike history to realise his impact.

If you can remember all the way back to 2015, the stalwart Counter-Strike figure joined us as an Analyst for IEM Katowice as we secured our second Major and cemented our place as the world’s best team. Quickly elevating to the Head Coach role, vuggo aided the side as they became the first team to secure back to back titles with victory at ESL One: Cologne, a record that still stands today.

vuggo is to join Fragbite.

“I want to use this opportunity to send my biggest thanks for his immense contribution to our organisation. Even though we know our CS:GO team is in good hands going forward, vuggo will be sincerely missed and from all us we want to wish him the best of luck in his future career.” - Patrik ‘cArn’ Sattermon

Our winnings traditions are thanks in no small part to Viktor’s efforts - Fnatic has remained a heavyweight name on each CS:GO event’s billing that we attend and we’ll always strive to keep that the norm.

Thank you, vuggo, for everything.

"My 2 and a half years in Fnatic has been an amazing time, a journey with a lot of great memories. I am super grateful to have worked with my passion, with people I now consider friends for life. I’m sure the guys will continue to improve as they’ve done for the past months, and I wish them all luck in the future." - Viktor ‘vuggo’ Jendeby
