We announced two weeks ago that Richard ‘Xizt’ Landström has returned to Fnatic and has taken the mantle of our in-game leader. With his return, we saw Jonas ‘Lekr0’ Olofsson enter a substitute position.
We can now wish Lekr0 good luck as he heads to pastures new at Ninjas in Pyjamas.
Since rejoining our Counter-Strike team, Lekr0 has been a part of moments that we will remember for a lifetime. In 2018, we reminded ourselves of that trophy-lifting feeling with IEM Katowice and later WESG to our name.
We hope Lekr0 enjoys the next step of his career and will enjoy the increased rivalry in the Swedish derby against Ninjas in Pyjamas.
“To this day, I’m really happy with my time at Fnatic. I learnt a lot from the team, and I will take both the good and the bad with me - I have and will grow as a player from it.
Winning Katowice is something I’m incredibly proud of and a moment like that will of course stay with me for a long time.
Lastly, I would like to thank the staff and everyone at the organisation for the time I had at Fnatic, and an extra thank you to Samuelsson and cArn for helping me with not only in-game, but out-of-game as well.” - Jonas ‘Lekr0’ Olofsson
You can see the team in action next from this Friday as we take the Wembley Arena stage for the ECS Season 5 Finals.
