Vive la France! we have come together with OnePlus once again to create the ultimate esports fan experience at Paris Games Week 2018.
Following on from a hugely successful Paris Games Week in 2017, which was our first official partnered event with OnePlus, 2018 has been scaled up to new levels.
The Fnatic x OnePlus collaboration has continued to evolve over the course of the last year. In September, we joined forces for Milan Games Week to promote The OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T gaming smartphone, Fnatic Gear esports peripherals and mobile gaming. Armed with this experience of how popular it was amongst visitors, Paris Games Week will take the experience on offer up a level.
Fans in Paris can look forward to PC and mobile gaming stations for them to compete against other fans, on-stand PC and mobile tournaments, a bumper collection of Fnatic Gear products and apparel and the chance to test out The OnePlus 6 gaming smartphone. You will also get the opportunity to meet and greet with Fnatic Clash Royale team, who will be competing on OnePlus smartphones and a number of high profile influencers will be present throughout the week for meet and greets.
Without forgetting the most worldwide esports story of the weekend, we'll be hosting a viewing party for our League of Legends World Championship semifinal against Cloud9 on Sunday morning.
"As a business, OnePlus thrives on creating strong bonds and growing together with its community of users and fans - and this is exactly why we partnered with Fnatic. As well as sharing the same philosophy of challenging the norm and being bold as brands, at the core of everything we both do is the fans and users.
Similar to Fnatic, OnePlus is always looking to build on previous successes. With this in mind, fans attending Paris Games Week should expect an experience they’ll remember." - David Sanmartin, Head of Europe Marketing, OnePlus
"Competitive mobile gaming has seen a significant rise the past year, most notably with the launch of the Clash Royale League. Where Fnatic is at the cutting edge of esports, so is OnePlus with their smartphones. Our combined presence at Paris Games Week promises lots of excitement for the French gaming fans and marks a thrilling year of working together with OnePlus. Our dedication to making our presence in Paris this year bigger and better symbolises our commitment to the people that matter - fans and users." - Wouter Sleijffers, CEO, Fnatic
