What's Coming Up - February

League of Legends

EU LCS is heading into the heart of the Spring Split as we enter February. We’ve already faced off against Misfits and Roccat in February - finishing in a devastating late game loss and a comfortable win respectively - meaning there are only three teams we have still yet to play.

We play Unicorns of Love, who are on 1-5, on 9th February; Giants, who’ve surprised to go 4-2 so far, on 10th February; and then Schalke 04, who are also on 3-3, on 16th February. We then head into the second phase of the double elimination split, with our rematch against Splyce.

Heroes of the Storm

EU HGC Phase #1 is heading into the all important final weeks prior to the Western Clash at IEM Katowice. Having started off February with much more comfortable 3-0 and 3-1 wins against Tricked Esport and Diamond Skin respectively, we play against the unbeaten Team Dignitas on February 10th.

Our place at Western Clash could be decided as we play Dignitas. But, if not, we have another chance against Team Liquid on February 17th.

CS:GO

We started off our post-ELEAGUE Major life with a qualification to IEM Katowice Season XII, beating Singularity and Hellraisers on the way. Our players will head to Poland for 27th February, when the group stage begins.

Before Katowice, we head to Kiev for Starladder i-League StarSeries Season 4. We’ve had a storied past in Kiev, being one of only four teams to win a StarLadder event twice, SLTV StarSeries Season X in 2014 and Season XIV in 2016.

In the meantime, ESL Pro League starts up again for Season 7 in mid-February. We topped the European League in Season 6, finishing third at the Finals in Odense last December.

Dota

ESL One Katowice 2018 will be Poland’s first ever Dota 2 Major. The $1,000,000 Major will take place a week prior to the CS:GO tournament and Heroes Western Clash, starting up on 20th February. It’ll be Saahil ‘UNiVeRsE’ Arora’s second event, and the first Major, in the Black and Orange.

Gfinity

The start of Fnatic’s first time in the Gfinity Elite Series is drawing closer. As part of the run-up, we’ll see a unique player draft take place on 23rd February. The top ranked competitors from the preseason Challenger Series circuit enter the Gfinity Elite Draft, from which we’ll have the opportunity to draft two players into each of our three games’ rosters.
