Position

Performance Marketing Manager

London, GB

At Fnatic we believe great marketing is authentic, adds value, is playful and is the pillar on which to grow our brand towards our mission. Our goal is to be the number one lifestyle brand from esports within 3 years, and we’ve got a lot of work to do.

We’re active in many marketing channels, from our ever present star gamers who perform globally at tournaments, to content, social, outside influencers and the events we run. We even launched our own concept store in December BUNKR.

We have over 10m fans across social media, and global sales across our ecommerce sites, amazon, or partners, which is a significant base of which to target online marketing activities. We are looking for someone who will thrive on having the vision of new strategic marketing channels to try, all the while working with our vast creative team to devise new assets, and accelerate campaigns.

We need you to be data-driven, obsessed with optimisation and get super excited to see the results of your experiments. Through the systems you have devised, whether that's through exit polls or clever attribution, you’ll be ultimately responsible for our outbound marketing funnels, and figure out what is really working, and what’s not.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage performance campaigns across paid search, content, display, paid social and affiliate marketing efforts.
  • Develop and execute our online advertising strategy, maximising the spend resourcefully.
  • Manage multi-lingual digital campaign approaches in line with daily insights and brand promotions across European, Asian and US markets.
  • Help unify strategies across social media, marketing and sales teams by offering data-driven support.
  • Create up-to-date reports and optimization plans for ROI, campaign performance, purchasing patterns and website traffic.
  • Utilise conversion funnels and optimisation strategies (CRO; Conversion Rate Optimisation).
  • Collaborate with our creative teams on landing page designs and testing.
  • Assist in the activation and delivery of programmatic RTB display & video campaigns across multiple platforms (desktop, mobile).
  • Always looking into new channels, you’ll test native, facebook, display, amazon, and search and through successes, gain an ever increasing marketing budget.

  • Video performance marketing experience.
  • Demonstrable experience with Google Analytics, CRM, SEO and other marketing tools and channels.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Additional languages a plus, as we’re an international business.

Graphic Designer / Art Director

At FNATIC we believe design is at the core of everything we do.

It forms the underlying connection between people and our mission. The experience of interacting with our brand should be clever, intuitive, and playful.

These interactions can come in many forms -

  • the layout of our ecommerce platform,
  • the creation of playful but simple product packaging,
  • the look and feel of motion overlays in our multitude of video productions,
  • the design of wall art for our new retail concept store,
  • the selection of a new collection for our apparel line
  • the design of new graphic prints for our mousepad collaborations
  • the creation of marketing materials surrounding global product launches.

As a Graphic Designer / Art Director within our team, your days will be filled creating these engaging interactions. You’ll work alongside our global production team from accross 8 locations to develop, inspire and improve the design function – driving our brand to be the the premier global brand from esports.

You'll have the opportunity to work across a number of different fields, with varied work but are able to specialise if your skill sets lie in specific areas. You should have an understanding of how to work within and help define a brand. Your curiosity will seek inspiration from your environment and others, and your enthusiasm will inspire us.

Requirements

In addition to a winning attitude, an insatiable love of design and desire to push the boundaries of what’s possible, we’re looking for these key skills:

  • Excellent visual and user focused design skills with an eye for detail.
  • Expert in the use of in Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch etc.
  • Excellent graphic design capabilities, use of shapes, color palletes, typography and patterns to create beatuiful and compelling artwork
  • Strong understanding of designing for the web, mobile and other connected devices
  • Ability to work within brand and design guidelines, whilst also considering possible unique interpretations.
  • Be able to demonstrate and articulate your vision when delivering a new concept for the brand
  • Excited by the new opportunities with moving image, animation and adaptive/responsive layouts
  • Extensive experience designing the look & feel of advertising materials

Lead Media Creative

You’ll help to define the heart and soul of our tribe, being responsible for social media strategy, reputation management, PR to business and consumer media, unifying all of our content platforms and creating a ‘goto’ home for everything Fnatic.

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Creative content lead and concept development for Fnatic and partners, developing and overseeing channels, content & communications for our Global operation.
  • Experimenting with content, analysing content consumption and developing content channels on the back of it.
  • Responsible for editorial, audience development & commercial strategies, encompassing all content formats.
  • Work closely with the video production team to develop new concepts, aligning with business development activities to determine current and potential partner needs and future productions.
  • Enhance our commercial knowledge, identifying revenue growth opportunities, focussing on content monetisation strategies and execution.
  • Social media is big for us and it needs to be in your DNA. With the global social media team, you are responsible for the way we drive the 24/7 conversations with our community.
  • Developing our brand identity through a content strategy that that is consistent across all our communication channels, managing and developing new ones depending on the audience.
  • In addition expect a contribution to create content for other marketing activities, for example DM campaigns for either our community or B2B audience.
  • You’ll be working in close co-operation with the Head of Production, whose team of writers and social media experts will be contributing to the delivery of assets for the content you create, whether text, visuals, video or other type of content.
  • We need both an online and offline media strategist.

  • To be successful, you’ll develop a deep understanding of the eSports and Fnatic community. For that you’ll listen and gather the data to understand how content is consumed, but also get under the skin of what drives our fans.
  • You love writing and have a thorough understanding how to create quality content that is valued and read by our audiences, captivating them and encouraging them to participate in a dialogue with us.
  • You’ll need to be diligent in grammatical standards for both yourself and and our content producers, enforcing your standards across all of our channels.
  • You’re outgoing and curious by nature, figuring out what moves our community through analysing data or asking questions and being a great listener.
  • Since it’s likely you will need to juggle with multiple projects or deliverables, you’d make a good impression showing us your organisation and project management skills.
