League of Legends Team Introduction

Fnatic entered the League of Legends scene in 2011 and since has become one of the most prestigious teams in the esport’s history. The team has won a record seven EU LCS titles, including a perfect 18-0 Split in 2015, and are the only European team to have ever won a World Championship.

The captain is Swedish ADC Martin “Rekkles” Larsson who originally joined the team back in 2012 and holds the records for the most kills (167) and least deaths (27) in an LCS Split - both earned in the Summer 2014 Split. Joining him in the bot lane is support Zdravets “Hylissang” Galabov whose aggressive play-style meshes perfectly with the Swede.

Leading the team through the early game is jungler Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen who was promoted from Fnatic’s academy team in 2017 and has since grown into one of Europe’s most feared players. And in the top-lane is Gabriël “Bwipo” Rau who last year went from a substitute to the starting top-laner in the World Championship final in China.

Those four players all competed in the Worlds 2018 final and are now joined by promising mid-laner Tim “Nemesis” Lipovšek. In his last game before joining Fnatic, the young Slovenian picked up a pentakill to win the European Masters final for his team.

With a new mid-laner, Fnatic will be determined to one up their 2018 performance and finally lift the Summoner’s Cup once again.
